Repairer

Choosing a QBE panel repairer gives you benefits above and beyond your own repairer which includes post repair service, 12-month warranty, assistance in managing the repairer throughout the repair on timeframes and quality.  You may however select your own repairer should you choose to. To make things simpler for you, choose one of QBE's accredited panel garages and let QBE take care of the entire quote and repair process. That means after you've lodged your claim, you can sit back, relax, and let us handle things.
All repairs completed by a QBE accredited repairer come with a 12 months warranty on the quality of the repairs and for any defect due to faulty workmanship or materials.
All accredited repairers in our preferred network are committed to providing QBE customers with priority service and must abide by strict quality standards. These include quality and audit inspections, maintaining professional business premises and using the latest equipment to repair your car.

They'll also vacuum your car to make sure it's clear of dirt before you pick it up.
Depending on their availability, the repairer can start work the moment they receive our authority to repair.

Lodge a claim

Yes. Please submit a new claim online with relevant receipts and supporting documents.
Yes. You can click ‘Save For Later’ at the bottom of the screen. Following that, you will receive an email with a URL which you can access to resume the claim registration at a later time.
Yes. Your agent or broker will be able to assist you with your online claim submission.
No. If the multiple claim types originate from the same loss/ incident, you only need to attach relevant receipts and supporting documents once.
Yes. You can access our Digital Motor Claims platform anytime.
From 9 March 2020, QBE Hong Kong will accept motor claims online.

Time limits

Yes. All claim submissions must be made within 14 days of date of loss/incident.
In the unlikely event that the system is unavailable, please continue to submit your claim online when the system is back in service. We would grant special handling for delayed claim submissions resulting from system disruptions.

Trird Party Claim

After you've lodged your claim, including the details of other involved parties, we'll take care of any issues should they get in touch. Simply refer any calls or correspondences to QBE.

You can check your Claim Status Checking online at here.

Payment Method

No. The Claim Payment can only be made to a bank account.
Please note that we can only issue Claim Payments to the policy holder (i.e. the registered owner of the insured vehicle). In other words, we do not accept a joint account. Please provide an individual bank account number held by the policy holder.
