QBE Foundation announces winners of $440,000 in local grants

The QBE Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2023 annual local grants program, providing a total of $440,000 to 11 charity and community organisations.

Each winner will receive $40,000 to further support their work in addressing inclusion and climate resilience in Australia.

The program, which received over 200 applications, also included an Employee Choice category, allowing QBE employees to apply for a local grant on behalf of a charity they work with or feel passionately about.

Jon Fox, QBE Foundation Co-Chair, highlighted the significance of these grants as an important way for QBE to support charities making a real difference in areas that matter.

“The local grants program reflects QBE’s dedication to creating positive change and empowering local charities actively working towards it.”

“Our 11 grant recipients have shown exceptional commitment and innovation in addressing climate challenges, promoting inclusion, and empowering communities – and it is inspiring to witness their impact and be part of their journey.”
