QBE Australia has welcomed the South Australian Government’s announcement that it will become one of four providers of Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance in South Australia from 1 July 2016.
Steve Rivers, General Manager CTP and Motor Trades for QBE Australia, expressed his delight at the announcement.
"QBE is very pleased to have this opportunity to work with the South Australian Government as they take this step to privatise their CTP market," he said.
"We are extremely proud to be part of the Government of South Australia’s longer-term vision to build CTP insurance that meets the needs of the South Australian motoring public and the broader South Australian community."
Throughout the course of the three years as the market transitions, QBE will work with the South Australian Government to explore ways to deliver road safety benefits to communities across the State.
