QBE Foundation announces 2024 Local Grants recipients, supporting climate resilience and inclusion

The QBE Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2024 Local Grants Program to fourteen charity and community organisations working to address either climate resilience and or inclusion across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.

With over 200 applications submitted this year, the program also featured an Employee Choice category, enabling employees to nominate local charities they work with or feel passionate about.

In the Climate Resilience and Inclusion categories, eight organisations were each selected to receive a $40,000 grant, helping them make a significant impact in these critical areas.

Under the Employee Choice category, four organisations each received $40,000 grants. The QBE Foundation also elected to support a further two organisations within this category, each receiving a $20,000 grant.

Chris Esson, Co-Chair of the QBE Foundation, said, “Our grants program reflects QBE’s commitment to fostering positive change by supporting charities that drive real, lasting impact where it’s needed most. The program plays a vital role in our mission to build a stronger future by amplifying the efforts of organisations working in critical areas.

“These fourteen recipients have demonstrated exceptional dedication and innovation in addressing climate issues, advocating for inclusion, and empowering communities. It’s inspiring to witness their impact firsthand and to support them in this important work.”
