QBE launches RFP for building repair services
QBE Insurance Australia today announced it would launch a request for proposal (RFP) for the provision of insurance building repair services for personal and commercial lines across Australia.
The move comes as the insurer undertakes a strategic review of its building repairers network, following a broader strategic review of its property claims division.
QBE Executive General Manager – Claims, Jon Fox, said they would look to partner with businesses who are committed to delivering the highest level of service for their customers.
“As an insurer, our moment of truth comes when our customers face damage to their personal properties or businesses. Getting our building repair service network right helps us to deliver for customers in their time of need, so they can get back on their feet sooner.”
“Evolving customer expectations and developments in technology mean that QBE has a duty to ensure we’re providing customers with the best possible repair solutions, that will lead to positive outcomes.” Mr Fox said.
“We want our building repair services network to share our commitment to exceptional customer service and high-quality, cost-effective repairs.
“A comprehensive tender process will help us choose the best building repair services network, based on their ability to provide repairs to private and commercial properties, and their capacity to support QBE’s distribution partners in all areas of Australia.”
QBE is calling for repairers to register their interest from 2 July 2018 to 15 July 2018.
