Press Release

QBE recognised in Top 25 Companies List by LinkedIn

QBE has been announced as one of LinkedIn’s Top 25 Australian Companies for 2021.

QBE, which was ranked 18th, was recognised as an all-rounder by LinkedIn, which analyses LinkedIn member data to measure companies against seven key organisational and career development pillars: career advancement; employee skills growth; attrition and retention; external job opportunities; company affinity; diversity; and education.

Shiona Watson, QBE Chief HR Officer Australia Pacific, said the ranking is testament to QBE’s efforts in creating a great place to work.

“QBE is dedicated to putting our employees at the heart of our organisation, and this is reflected in our focus on creating an inclusive workplace that fosters both professional and personal growth.

“We have successfully launched our ‘Learning for All’ training platform to connect employees virtually, foster development and boost performance, as well as our ‘At My Best’ program, to promote employee care and wellbeing. We’ve also made great strides towards parental equality with our Share the Care parental leave policy, remained the highest rated insurer on the AWEI, Australia’s benchmarking instrument for LGBTQ workplace inclusion, and continued to develop future talent through our QBE Graduate Program and Career Trackers partnership.

“Our employees are what sets QBE apart, and I’m proud that our efforts to encourage our teams to reach their best are reflected in LinkedIn’s data.”
